Daydream Nation at Rendez-vous

Our final stop this season! i thought we would be extremely exhausted, ready to drop dead by now... but then, we're doing fine! Maybe it's because we have good company. Daita and Haruka from The Old Curiosity Shop, sharing the stand with us this time. Apart from Daita's wonderful shoes, he is such a nice person, warm heart, humour that can us with laughter!!!!! so basically, we have been dining together in Milan and Paris. We're so excited that we're going to Tatty Devine's party at their flat, oh...... that's going to be fun!

oh, and guess who we met today! Sarah from Colette!!!!!!!!!! she likes our accessories!!!!! somehow, I've always imagined her to be someone perhaps with an attitude, but NO! she was so nice and down to earth!!!!!!! and GENTLE!

in Paris!

what a beautiful ... do you call it graffitti? " Life is beautiful, and you are just like it!"
our stay in Paris is beautiful, our best friends Edmund has come to crash with us, Kuofee is in town, Michelle Lowe Holder's here, Azumi and David is here, Daita and Haruka is joining us.. It's almost festive!!!!!!!!!!

one fine day in Milan! Victor and Rolf, Mouschino!

our free day in Milano, spent half the day sleeping, and the rest walking around the shops.
it was such a cute window display at Moschino, mischievously changing the name into Mouschino, and creating a theatre/catwalk space with mice all around. very very cute indeed. That's what we need, humour!
we were sooooo amazed to be standing in front of Victor and Rolf's shop, the completely upside down decor completely blew us away!

Daydream Nation, Inside White Award winner, 2008

There are quite a few flattering events that happened in White that we are still very overwhelmed by... Firstly, we won the Inside White Award!! This is a prestigious award for young designers, and to tell you the truth, none of us designers in the Inside area knew what was happening... some didn't even knew there was an award! Strange. When they announced the award, we didn't even know it was us! They were speaking in Italian and they expect us to understand! Anyway, we are eternally grateful. Bless the Italians.
Secondly, we have found out that MARTIN MARGIELA was exhibiting alongside us in a special area of the White show!!!! AND ANN DEM!!!!!!!!! Need I say more?
Thirdly, guess who we've met at White? Buyers from JOYCE......

And this is where Kay and I went for the Celebration Dinner...... amazing food amazing decor...

White Milano is by far the best salons we have attended! The attention to details of the whole show can be seen from the interiors of the show, to the designers they represent, to the cafe they created, the additional white theatrical people they place around the show. It has also been by far the fair we have been to with the most traffic, it was busy EVERY day! Beautiful people, beautiful clothes, great business, what more can we ask for? 21st-24th February, 2008.
