nathalie verlinden's shoes Nathalie designs the most amazing shoes I've seen,
my favourite is her design "Silas" sandals with a pair of leather socks to wear inside it.
she uses vegetally tanned leather.
we were utterly speechless when this issue of milk magazine came out, we probably have connected with jordy in our dreams for her to be able to represent our collection spot on, exactly how we imagine it should be for our SS09 "You are in everything I do" collection!!!
thank you to Gay who gave us a super powerful write up, and basically, most hong kong people who travel to work by mtr everyday, saw it, as it is one of THE main HK free newspapers. "Trendy brand, Asia representative", it says, a bit over-the-top praise that we're not sure we can live up to... but we'll try!!!
and apologies to our daydreamer friends who have been looking at the blog, and it really have been very neglected lately because, we are planning and working on our whole new website, and as usual, production and sampling for the new season keeps running into each other, and one of our beloved partner/brand manager Dan had to leave our team, and thus, big changes occur, we spent time adapting to these changes... hopefully, changes for the better! Welcome to our new member Inti and DuBeeLub!! and thank God for sending us the wonderful intern team of 5 this summer, you have saved us! Kristin, Melanie, Fiona, Carlos, and Eunice!! dont' know how we'd survive without you guys!!!
olivia's wonderful perspective on fashion "Eve's happy clothing" is the name of the discussion, "I imagine Eve (from Eden garden) might have been the first fashion designer. If God didn't not test Adam and Eve with the temptation, clothing or fashion might not become a necessity today. Human beings started covering up their bodies because of sin, then fashion designers must be magicians, turning sin into happiness!" and this is the first time how i realized you can be so inspired by the interviewer! I love you Olivia!!!!! one of the brainchild and creators behind PIP, one of THE most successful theatre groups in hong kong, who, apart from successful and commercial pieces, put a lot of time and effort into children plays and education, as well as more avante-garde theatre pieces. Go PIP!!!
